On the Resources page, I have added resources and documents that your chapter can fill out for SLC. Documents include hotel reservation, March of Dimes fundraising report, the Statement of Assurance form, and others.

NLC Promotional VideoFebruary 20, 2010, 6:13 PM
I have uploaded the National Leadership Conference Promotional Video as provided by FBLA-PBL. It is available on the Resources page as a Windows Media Video type file, and an H.264/MPEG-4 file. It is also viewable in as flash video at the top of the page. Download it if you wish to show your students or use it in a presentation, or if you just want to enjoy it.

Getting Ready for SLCJanuary 6, 2010, 10:31 PM

Happy New Year Iowa FBLA! We have just added the following documents to the website: the SLC Tentative Schedule, the Competitive Events Bulletin Signup Sheets, and the Competitive Event Participation Numbers. It is recommended that you get your students ready for this conference as soon as possible to ensure that your chapter wins the Lloyd V. Douglas Chapter of the Year Award. There's an event for everyone, so check them out. You can view the Competitive Event Guidelines document for in depth summaries of what each event is about and what is expected from the participants. Good luck to all!

2010 Officer Application Now AvailableDecember 23, 2009, 3:33 PM

For those of you who would like to do more for Iowa FBLA, the 2010 State Officer Applications are now on the website. This is a great way to get involved with the chapter, and an awesome experience overall. The Campaign Guidelines can be viewed here, and the application form can be downloaded here. Please do not miss the deadline. Candidates will give their speech at Opening Session at SLC and will be elected by local chapter delegates later in the conference.

The application deadline has since past. Thank you to all that applied.

The Iowa FBLA Photo Gallery now includes pictures from the trip to Baltimore. Remember if you have pictures you want to be featured on the state website, you can email them to me.
