All advisers and their families are invited to Taube Park, Marion, Saturday, August 21 from 11-4 for games, fun, and social time together. Iowa FBLA will provide hamburgers and hot dogs to grill. | While at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, 57 Iowa FBLA Students and 8 Advisers participated in a flood recovery service project at the McRedmond Family Farm. Here is a note from the McRedmond Family that they sent to us after the project was completed. |

Iowa FBLA was represented well this year at the 2010 National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee with six top ten winners.
Devin Wadsworth - Fairfield - 9th Place in Networking Concepts
Karan Rao - Linn-Mar - 9th Place in Future Business Leader
Quinn Murphy and Matt Dunn - 8th Place in Digital Video Production
Cathy Hecht - Linn-Mar - 8th Place in Electronic Student Portfolio
Alex German - Alburnett - 7th Place in Database Design and Applications
Alburnett High School also won the following chapter awards:
North Central Region Marketshare Award - 2nd Place
North Central Region Chapter BAA Member Participation - 1st Place
WeSeed Stock Market Lesson Plan - 2nd Place
Also, Lou Voss, Eagle Grove Chapter Adviser, was inducted into the FBLA Hall of Fame this year.
